Quien alza su lámpara lee en la memoria.
I
El ser es aquello que no puede ser ocultado por la sombra ni revelado por la luz.
Being is that which cannot be concealed by shadows nor made visible by light.

Viruela de Dios, el sacerdote
Smallpox of God, the priest.
III
En su superioridad de contemplación envejece lo no nacido.
In its supremacy of contemplation grows old the unborn.

Vivimos setenta años y morimos millones. Alguien nos subestima.
We live seventy years and we die millions. Someone underestimates us.

Compasión: una fe que prescinde de dioses.
Compassion: a faith that disregards gods.

Dios hizo al hombre inmortal. Pero el hombre protestó: no podía matar.
God made man immortal. But man protested. He could not kill.

El niño frente a lo adulto: como un ángel en un crimen.
A child before the adult world: like an angel in a crime.
